Cherry County Hospital

The Cherry County Hospital is a voluntary, not for profit county owned hospital operated for the residents of North Central Nebraska and South Central South Dakota. They’re a 25-bed critical access hospital with 150 employees. They own an ambulance service and an attached clinic.

The hospital exists to operate and maintain economically feasible health care services for the residents of the area. It provides a quality and nurturing environment for patients, medical staff, hospital staff, and the various publics.

The hospital first opened its doors in late 1975 and their clinic in 1994. In 2006, the hospital underwent a major renovation/addition that was completed on the pharmacy, patient nutrition, nursing offices, home health, medical records, administration, laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation, physician lounge, chapel, and physical therapy areas.
