Johnston High School

Located in the Johnston Community School District, Johnston High School serves more than 1,600 students in grades tenth through twelfth.

In the 2017-2018 school year, the high school will move into a completely new building, located on the west side of Johnston. The new $75M, 369,000-square-foot high school is a two-story building that's designed in three wings, which will be organized by grade level. Each wing will house all academic courses, such as science, math, English, and social studies. The high school features an increased capacity for up to 1,800 students, along with state-of-the-art learning facilities.
