Messiah Lutheran Church

Messiah Lutheran Church

Messiah Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, held its first worship service on June 7, 1970. From these humble beginnings, Messiah has grown to over 400 members.

Known in the community as a ‘young’ church, Messiah completed a beautiful, new worship facility in 2000 to accommodate their growing congregation.

In May of 2011, following years of continued growth, Messiah voted to move forward with a much needed building addition, primarily to meet the education needs of the congregation. On Easter Sunday of 2013, the church held a formal ground breaking ceremony with actual construction beginning in late June of 2013. Once again utilizing the ECLA Mission Builders and lots of volunteer hours from the congregation, construction was completed by the spring of 2014.
