Westside Church exists so that Omaha and the world may know Christ, develop a deepening relationship with Him, and express His love through service. Their goal is to move their church from simply worshipping God on a weekend service to serving God in everyday lifestyle. Simply stated, their strategy is to encourage progression in the Christian journey.

“The Journey” is their strategy to fulfill The Great Commission. It’s a three-step process to connect you to Christ, to other believers, and to a lifestyle of discipleship and evangelism.

The beliefs Westside Church holds true are: God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe, Jesus Christ is the Son of God, virgin-born, the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God, the Bible is God’s Word to us, people are made in the spiritual image of God to be like Him in character, salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it, because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity, and people were created to exist forever through eternal union with God.
