Andrew Pollack

Andrew Pollack - Parkland Parent

Andrew Pollack is an American author, school safety activist, and entrepreneur whose daughter Meadow was one of the 17 murdered victims in the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2018. He dedicates his life to making school safe again, founding a non-profit Americans for Children’s Lives and School Safety (CLASS) and making sure that the families of victims get answers and justice.

Ryan Petty

Ryan Petty - Parkland Parent

Ryan Petty is a passionate school safety advocate, dedicated to preventing violence in schools through policy reform and community action. After losing his daughter, Alaina, in the Parkland school shooting, he co-founded The WalkUp Foundation to promote early intervention and threat assessment strategies. Appointed to the Florida State Board of Education, he works with lawmakers, educators, and law enforcement to improve school security, ensuring that no family endures the same tragedy he has faced.
