ECC's 28th Annual Golf Classic Raises $7,250 for KC's Operation Breakthrough

Kansas City, Missouri — Last week we held our 28th Annual ECC Golf Classic at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course, a charity golf tournament benefiting the surrounding communities we're a part of. This year, we had the honor and privilege to donate all of the proceeds to Operation Breakthrough, an incredible KC organization that provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education.

We're humbled to share that with the astounding support of our sponsors and participants, together, we were able to raise and donate $7,250 to Operation Breakthrough! They're a beacon of light in our KC community, and we're fortunate to have the opportunity and ability to support their fantastic organization. Thank you to all of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers who came together to support a great cause! 

Through our ECC Lifting Spirits program, our mission is to elevate others through kindness and help empower the communities we're a part of. Last year, as part of that mission, we expanded our annual ECC Golf Classic for the first time and raised a total of $7,500 amounting to a $3,750 donation to both the People's City Mission and the Stephen Center to benefit our surrounding Lincoln and Omaha communities. We're proud to have been able to continue that tradition this year, and we can't thank our sponsors enough for help making it all possible!
