This upgraded model sets a new standard for clarity, control, and versatility, combining cutting-edge distortion-reduction technology and a reimagined mounting system to deliver an unparalleled performance experience.
Designed in response to years of user feedback, the 4099 CORE+ features a 10 dB increase in dynamic range and a higher clipping point, enabling it to capture every nuance of an instrument with remarkable precision, even in the most demanding live or studio environments. At the center of this innovation is CORE+ by DPA technology, a patent-pending advancement for distortion-free sound that virtually eliminates the non-linearities often produced by microphone membranes and electronics. Accompanying the upgraded microphone is a newly engineered Gooseneck Mount (G-MOUNT), which offers greater stability, vibration isolation, and one-handed, precision mic placement thanks to its two-step locking mechanism. The mount is backward compatible with many existing DPA clips, providing a seamless transition for current users. Additionally, select clips, such as those for cello, piano, and microphone stands, have been refined for improved functionality and acoustic performance, while a new XLR-MOUNT expands mounting options to include 19mm pencil mics and XLR adapters.
