Panasonic KAIROS HDMI Boards AV Processors

Panasonic Enables Smarter, More Adaptive Solutions for Live Production and Collaboration

Oct 07 2025

Panasonic Video and Audio Systems North America (PAVNA), a Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd. division, has introduced new AV solutions to enhance live production and hybrid communication. The KAIROS IT/IP live production platform now offers two optional HDMI boards: the Input Board AT-KC20M2G and Output Board AT-KC20M3G. Compatible with the Kairos Core 200/2000 mainframes, these boards support HDMI 2.1 and remove the need for external conversion, simplifying system integration. Available through a simple software upgrade to version 2.0, expected in Q4 2025, expands I/O options and streamlines mixed HDMI/SDI workflows, providing flexible live production capabilities for diverse live production environments.

Panasonic WR-AV800 Designed to optimize hybrid classrooms and corporate spaces, the WR-AV800 AV Processor supports up to four ceiling microphones and eight PTZ cameras. It offers intelligent speaker tracking, beam focus audio for precise voice pickup without preset mic zones, and single-cable AV Bridge connectivity for video and audio. Integration with Panasonic's Media Production Suite, utilizing the Video Mixer plugin1, enables software-based switching and tracking, while pairing with the WX-AM800 Ceiling Array Microphone addresses challenges such as audio feedback, poor clarity, and difficulty identifying speakers. These features make the WR-AV800 a complete solution for seamless hybrid collaboration.
