THE 2026 COPS SCHOOL VIOLENCE PROTECTION PROGRAM (SVPP) GRANT IS NOW OPEN

SECURE FUNDING FOR K-12 SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Registration for the 2026 COPS School Violence Protection Program (SVPP) Grant IS OFFICALLY OPEN and offering up to $500,000 in funding per K-12 school district for communication and security infrastructure upgrades. Applications will be submitted in a two-step process each with its own deadline — Step one requires submitting an SF-424 to Grants.gov with an application DEADLINE OF TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 (3:59 PM CT). Step two involves submitting the full application, including attachments, to JustGrants and has an application DEADLINE OF TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026 (3:59 PM CT).

While this federal funding is crucial for improving school safety, many districts struggle with the complex application process and lack the specialized grant writing expertise needed to secure these funds. EMD's team guides schools through every step of the application process, simplifying what can be an overwhelming undertaking and helping districts secure the funding needed to equip their facilities with state-of-the-art security solutions.
