HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, training programs, company events, onboarding, and providing assistance to the HR staff. As an HR Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective HR operations within the company. You will report directly to the VP of Finance.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Administer new employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure the follow-through of ongoing employee training and development initiatives.
- Monitor employee morale and company culture to promote a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance on personnel policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies to improve HR processes and compliance.
- Stay updated on federal and state employment law and compliance requirements to ensure adherence.
- Respond to and address human resources-related inquiries from employees.
- Maintain employee files and records accurately and confidentially.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding company policies.
- Assist in identifying future staffing needs and participate in recruitment efforts.
- Process complaints related to harassment or discrimination and assist in necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions, if required.

Required Education, Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the HR field, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Proven experience working in an HR department.
- Familiarity with state and federal employment regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in personnel and compliance records management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of HR procedures and policies.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion.
- HR certification (such as PHR or SPHR) preferred.
Motor Vehicle Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proof of vehicle insurance is required for those who may drive a personal vehicle for business.
- Meet ECC auto insurance standards by DMV background check in order to drive a company vehicle.
