Electronic Contracting Company (ECC) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key customer relationships, and expanding ECC's presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

 

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with company goals.


Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members to ensure a high level of competency and performance.

 

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Forming sales strategies to keep the assigned region competitive and innovative
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.

 

Sales Operations:

  • Responsible for managing the sales cycle (account planning, sales execution, pipeline/funnel management) and forecast accurately
  • Strong quantitative skills, required for accurate sales pipeline/ sales funnel management, as well as financial reporting to management and internal departments
  • Create and manage sales onboarding program to enable success in new sales hires
  • Implement and manage sales processes and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to support sales initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.

 

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets.
  • Develop partnerships and alliances to expand ECC's market reach.
  • Represent ECC at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Forming sales strategies to keep the assigned region competitive and innovative
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets

 

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to executive leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and sales data.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies relevant to ECC's offerings.

 

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Develop a deep understanding of ECC's products and services.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team on product features and benefits.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively promote ECC's solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience in the AV or security integration industry preferred
