Our Springfield team is growing, and we’re looking for an Industrial Controls Engineer to join us—someone who thrives in dynamic environments and brings deep knowledge of industrial automation, PLC programming, and low voltage systems. Whether it’s in manufacturing plants, healthcare, education, or critical infrastructure, you’ll be part of a tight-knit, supportive team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and doing the right thing.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, program, and commission industrial control systems using PLC platforms (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Plan, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including fire alarm, audiovisual, nurse call, intercom, access control, clocks, and video surveillance systems.
- Interpret technical documents, construction drawings, and electrical schematics to guide system design and implementation.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales engineers, and field technicians to ensure successful system integration from concept to completion.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during installation and service phases.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations, programming files, updates, and service activity.

What You Bring:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial controls, automation, or low voltage systems engineering.
- Proficient in PLC programming
- Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, and industry standards related to control systems and low voltage infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
- Excellent communication and documentation habits.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
