The Lead Technician will perform installation tasks including cable pulls, cable terminations, device installation and rack fabrication. The Lead Technician will be expected to lead and direct installation crews and coordinate with the Project Managers to ensure projects achieve scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.

Requirements:

· 2-3 years of low-voltage or related field experience

· Ability to work and think independently

· Ability to lead site teams

· Effectively communicate with employees and customers

· Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders or scaffolding

· Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and schematics

· Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record that meets ECC’s driving standard

· Pass a pre-employment background check

· Must be flexible to work overtime/weekends when required

· Willing to travel when necessary

· Must be able to lift 50lbs

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

· Associate degree in Electronics or related field

· Ability to obtain formal approved clearances (Government or system specific) as required

· Industry specific and manufacturer training such as NICET, AVIXA CTS
