As our firm continues to grow, so does our need for more people on our Service Team to support our systems. The Service Technician is responsible for daily activities of Service and Support to our Clients, both internal and external. Our Service Technicians service, inspect, and maintain all of our technology solutions including Access Control, Audio/Visual, Fire Alarm, Healthcare Communications, Sound Systems, & Video Surveillance. The Service Technician is the front-line support of our business. From football stadiums, to hospitals, to schools and banks, you'll immerse yourself throughout the Midwest being hands-on with the technology that powers it.
The Tier I Service Technician is responsible for daily activities of Service and Support to our Customers, both internal and external. They will inspect and maintain all the technology systems that are installed at our customer’s facility including but not limited to access control, audio/visual, fire alarm, nurse call, sound systems, and video surveillance. The Service Technician is the front-line support of our business.
Researches, troubleshoots, and problem solves issues that arise
Inspects devices and provides quality reports on the functionality of customer systems
Recommends preventative maintenance on systems
Communicates (written and verbal) effectively to internal and external customers
Point of escalation for difficult customer cases and de-escalates situations as needed
Interacts professionally and tactfully with others on job-sites
Networking and set up remote support
Provides on-site client training as required
Prioritizes tasks
Performs work in adherence to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures as they are introduced to the Company; promptly reports unsafe work conditions to supervisor
Cultivates positive working relationships within and across departments
Engages in behaviors that foster a healthy work environment and company culture
Adheres to company-issued policies, procedures, core values, behavioral or other standards as prescribed by the Company
Presents self in a professional manner and appropriately represents the Company image
Associates Degree in Electronics preferred
Valid State Driver’s license
Work independently
Willingness to travel overnights as needed
Willingness to work weekends when necessary
End-User Training Experience
Must be able to climb and work off ladders and scaffolding
Must be able to walk, stoop, push, pull, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift 75lbs when necessary
Ability to perform activities such as operate power tools and aerial lifts
Ability to work with hazards and a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, etc.
Minimum of 2 years technical experience
