HARMAN Professional Solutions has introduced two significant expansions to its speaker offerings: the JBL Professional Control 400 Enhanced Coverage Series Ceiling Speakers and the new JBL PRX925 and PRX935 loudspeakers, part of its Professional PRX900 Series. These latest releases enhance the company's lineup with cutting-edge technology and versatile options for various audio applications.
The JBL Professional Control 400 Enhanced Coverage Series builds upon the success of the JBL Control 20 Series, offering superior sonic performance, broader conical coverage, and improved installation features. A standout component is the Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator (CRBI™) technology, which ensures smooth, consistent sound across a large area, reducing the need for additional speakers and amplifiers, resulting in cost savings. The series includes six models: the Control 426C/T and Control 424C/T (two-way coaxial speakers with 6.5-inch and 4-inch woofers), as well as low-profile versions for spaces with limited ceiling plenum (Control 426LP and Control 424LP). The Control 426C/T-LS has been certified to the UL1480 Standard, expanding application possibilities into life-safety designs, and the Control 419CS/T is an 8-inch in-ceiling subwoofer designed for extended low-end performance. The Control 400 Series also features a full-face magnetic grille that blends seamlessly with modern decor and is available in white, black, or square designs. Installation is simplified with tool-free, captive hand screws, terminal covers for cable entry, and compatibility with both 70V/100V and low-impedance applications. Ideal for retail stores, corporate offices, educational spaces, and transit areas, this series delivers powerful performance and a refined aesthetic.
HARMAN has also expanded its JBL Professional PRX900 Series powered portable PA family with the introduction of the PRX925 and PRX935 loudspeakers. Bringing the series to seven configurations, including five powered loudspeakers and two powered subwoofers, these models offer more flexibility for various audio needs. The PRX925 is a two-way system with dual 15-inch drivers, providing exceptional clarity, definition, and impressive SPL and low-frequency performance, ideal for large spaces requiring additional low-end support. The PRX935 is a three-way system with a single 15-inch driver, designed for superior mid-frequency range and vocal clarity, making it ideal for applications like houses of worship and corporate A/V.
Both the PRX925 and PRX935 are managed via the JBL Pro Connect app or an onboard color LCD. They feature a 12-band parametric EQ, dbx Automatic Feedback Suppression, and more for precise system tuning. Designed for durability, these models come in 18-mm birch cabinets with optimized bracing for smooth, accurate, low-end response. All PRX900 models are rigorously tested under JBL's industry-leading protocols and come with an unprecedented 7-year warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
Together, the Control 400 Enhanced Coverage Series Ceiling Speakers, with the addition of the PRX925 and PRX935 to the PRX900 Series, offer a comprehensive range of solutions for different audio environments, from ceiling speakers in commercial spaces to portable PA systems for larger venues. These solutions ensure high-quality sound and easy management for users.
