Delivering an impressive 27,000 lumens through a large 343 mm (13.5 inch) front lens, the Raven XIP combines intense brightness with smooth color mixing and refined optical performance, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor environments.
An advanced RGBL (Red, Green, Blue, Lime) light engine is at the heart of the fixture. The inclusion of lime LEDs expands the color spectrum, improves white balance, and enhances the rendering of skin tones—making it especially valuable for broadcast and theatrical applications. The fixture also features a signature Martin aura backlight effect powered by 234 individual LEDs behind the front lens, creating layered visual textures and immersive light experiences.
What sets the MAC Aura Raven XIP apart is its innovative XIP (Xtreme Intelligent Protection) weatherproofing technology. This design approach allows the fixture to maintain a compact form factor and quiet operation while being fully protected against outdoor elements. Ease of use is a central focus, with the fixture supporting Martin’s P3 control system for seamless video-to-light integration alongside traditional DMX. It includes a Universal Connect Module slot for flexible power and data input configurations, compatibility with the Martin Companion mobile app for remote access and configuration, and user-friendly hardware such as yoke handles for safe, efficient rigging and transport.
