Electronic Contracting Company, one of the leading systems integration firms in the Midwest, is looking for a qualified Service Manager to work full-time in our Omaha office. We only recruit candidates who are driven and will continue our company's upward growth.

Our company installs and services a wide variety of low voltage systems such as: Access Control, Audio/Visual Systems, Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, Sound Reinforcement, & Video Surveillance. As our Omaha Service Manager, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating all personnel, quality, and customer service issues.

Duties/Responsibilities

  Supervise service staff that are responsible for system maintenance
  Assign and coordinate service calls with the Service Coordinator
  Recruit, train, and lead service staff
  Assist customers with their questions, problems, and complaints
  Resolve complex escalations, make decisions, and ensure prompt follow up with our customers
  Ensure all standard operating procedures and safety procedures are followed
  Prepare and send proposals to customers on system requests and upgrades
  Maintain high standard of customer relations
  Drive accountability and motivate team
  Demonstrate ability to assess a situation and formulate the correct solution
  Grow the service business in the Omaha and surrounding areas

Requirements

  Proven record as a manager and building/driving high performance teams
  Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience
  Service-related experience preferred
  Knowledge of Fire Alarm, Security, Nurse Call, Intercom, Audio/Visual preferred
  Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal for client relations
  Good analytical/troubleshooting skills
  Good written/verbal communication for client relations
  Valid state driver's license
  Willing to travel when necessary
  Willing to work overtime/weekends when necessary
  Strong problem solving skills
  Ability to manage several tasks at a time and effectively prioritize duties
  Ability to handle and meet deadlines

Our technicians draft a wide variety of low voltage systems such as: Access Control, Audio/Visual Systems, Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, Sound Reinforcement, & Video Surveillance. As a new hire, you’ll train with our lead drafting technician, as well as the department manager on a multitude of different systems to learn the basics. Once you learn the ropes, you’ll start drafting projects from start to finish. You'll become a familiar face by interacting with our other dedicated departments such as install, sales, purchasing, shipping/receiving, and custom/service. You'll help our sales team with preliminary drafting design, as well as completed submittal drawings. Sound like a fit? Here’s what the job entails:

Requirements

  Proven work experience as a drafter or similar role
  Associates Degree in CAD/Drafting or 2+ years experience in using CAD software
  Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
  Strong problem solving skills

Our techs install a wide variety of low voltage systems such as: access control, audio/visual systems, fire alarm, nurse call, sound reinforcement, & video surveillance. As a new hire, you’ll train with our lead technicians at multiple job sites to learn about all our systems and how to install them. Once you learn the ropes you’ll start managing projects from start to finish. You'll become a familiar face by interacting with our other dedicated departments to ensure premium service such as: Engineering/Drafting, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and Custom/Service. Requirements

  Associates Degree in Electronics
