The Customer Engagement Specialist will support the service teams in enhancing ECC’s customers experience. This position requires an individual that is passionate about our customers’ needs and will promote sales of monitoring, inspections and Complete Care agreements. The Customer Engagement Specialist must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. This position requires an individual that is people oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail. Will report to the Director of Managed Services.


Duties and Responsibilities

  Welcome visitors to ECC
  Schedule inspections and recertification for the Lincoln Service Team
  Attract potential clients by answering product and service-related questions; suggest information and services
  Quote new monitoring, inspection and Complete Care agreements on house account projects
  Conduct project completion surveys
  Create products and activate warranty service agreements
  Upsell new services to existing clients
  Maintain customer records by updating account information
  Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Service Teams to ensure proper communication and flow of client needs.

Customer Service

  Presents self in a professional manner and positively represents the company image

Internal Communication

  Completes all required documentation accurately and within expected time frames. This includes but may not be limited to: Company’s CRM, and timekeeping.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  Ability to read, understand, and act upon a written Scope of Work or Work Narrative
  Familiarity with system installation
  Proficiency of programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and CRM
  Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle stressful situations
  Capable of working independently, without direct supervision or guidance, as well as in a team environment
  Must be solution-focused, forward-thinking and organized
  Must be personable, possess adequate communication, customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external team members
  Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as they are introduced to the Company
  Highly adaptable to change
  Ability to present self in a professional manner and positively represent the company image
  Ability to work long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required by the job

Required Education and/or Work Experience

  Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
  1+ years in a customer-facing, customer service role

Motor Vehicle Requirements

  Valid driver’s license
  Proof of vehicle insurance is required for those who may drive a personal vehicle for business

Physical Requirements

As our firm continues to grow, so does our need for more people on our Service Team to support our systems. The Service Technician is responsible for daily activities of Service and Support to our Clients, both internal and external. Our Service Technicians service, inspect, and maintain all of our technology solutions including Access Control, Audio/Visual, Fire Alarm, Healthcare Communications, Sound Systems, & Video Surveillance. The Service Technician is the front-line support of our business. From football stadiums, to hospitals, to schools and banks, you'll immerse yourself throughout the state of Nebraska being hands-on with the technology that powers it.


Duties and Responsibilities

  Researches, troubleshoots and problem solves issues that arise
  Inspects devices and provides quality reports on the functionality of customer systems
  Recommends preventative maintenance on systems
  Communicates (written and verbal) effectively to internal and external customers
  Point of escalation for difficult customer cases and de-escalates situations as needed
  Interacts professionally and tactfully with others on job-sites
  Networking and set up remote support
  Provides on-site client training as required
  Prioritizes tasks

Additional Responsibilities:

  Performs work in adherence to OSHA and company safety policies and procedures as they are introduced to the Company; promptly reports unsafe work conditions to supervisor
  Cultivates positive working relationships within and across departments
  Engages in behaviors that foster a healthy work environment and company culture
  Adheres to company-issued policies, procedures, core values, behavioral or other standards as prescribed by the Company
  Presents self in a professional manner and appropriately represents the Company image

Requirements:

  Associates Degree in Electronics preferred
  Valid State Driver’s license
  Willingness to travel overnights as needed
  Work independently
  Willingness to work weekends when necessary
  End-User Training Experience

Physical Requirements

  Must be able to climb and work off ladders and scaffolding
  Must be able to walk, stoop, push, pull, bend, kneel, crouch,and lift 75lbs when necessary
  Ability to perform activities such as operate power tools and aerial lifts
  Abilityto work with hazards and a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, etc.

Experience:

      Minimum of 2 years technical experience
      Nebraska State Fire Alarm Inspector License (possess orobtain within 6 months)

You'll train with our Lead Service Technicians on multiple service calls, getting first hand experience on how to support our cutting-edge technology solutions. From football stadiums, to hospitals, to schools and banks, you'll immerse yourself throughout the state of Nebraska being hands-on with the technology that powers it.


Requirements

  Associates Degree in Electronics
  Strong researching, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  Excellent phone and email communication skills
  Able to provide excellent customer experience
  Be a point of escalation for difficult customer cases, de-escalating the situation where needed
  Adaptability to work independently and part of a team bringing in experts when needed
  Current concepts around secure remote PC access/VPN
  Setup and use of TeamViewer and other remote software
  Passion for technology and learning
  Work well with employees in other departments and from other offices
  Experience with offsite Alarm Central account setup and troubleshooting
  Ability to deploy on-site solution when needed
  Valid state driver's license
  Pass a pre-employment test/drug screen
  Willing to travel when necessary
  Willing to work overtime/weekends when necessary
  Must be able to climb and work off ladders or scaffolding
  Must be able to lift 75lbs when necessary

Experience:

  Nebraska State Fire Alarm Inspector License (Possess or be able to obtain within 6 months)
  Nebraska Fire Alarm Installer License (Possess or be able to obtain within 6 months)
  NICET II in Fire Alarm Systems Certification (Preferred but not required)

Experience in troubleshooting a majority of the following systems:

  Fire Alarm
  Nurse Call
  Wandering Resident Systems
  Access Control
  Video Surveillance
  Audio/Visual
  Theatrical Lighting
  Networking
